Sizing

WildBird Ring Slings are fully adjustable and intended to be accessible to everyone.
Standard (74") fits most users, and Long (90") is intended for plus-size or tall (6ft+) wearers.

100% natural linen. Woven with luxurious European linen fibers.
Pre-washed and softened fabric that becomes softer with each use and wash.
Dyed using low-impact dyes - for color that’s kind to our planet and sensitive onto baby’s skin.
Light and airy, linen is the optimal solution for breathability.
Stronger, more sustainable and more durable than cotton.
Wash separately or with like colors in cool water by hand or machine on gentle cycle (unthread the sling when washing); hang dry or dry flat.

1. Why the Ring Sling? What makes it so great?

The Ring Sling is the easiest and quickest way to wear your baby. The fabric is short and manageable; as it never needs to touch the ground, it’s more hygienic and easier to keep clean. There's no wrapping or buckling involved, and after a little practice, putting on the sling can be done by yourself in a matter of seconds. To see it in action, visit our tutorials page.

2. Are Ring Slings safe?

Yes! Our greatest concern is the safety of you and your baby. WildBird slings are made from the highest quality aluminum rings and fabric available, and each is certified and tested to ensure the sling remains safe over time. However, like any baby carrier, it’s essential that slings are used correctly for safe babywearing. Please study and practice the recommended carrying techniques in our tutorial videos and in your instruction pamphlet.

9. Why are your slings made from linen?

Linen is the strongest natural fiber. It’s hypoallergenic and temperature regulating, and it’s easy to care for – everything we’re looking for in a baby carrier for our little ones!

10. How do I wash my sling?

Our slings can be hand- or machine-washed in cool water and hung to dry. Avoid using detergent with optical brighteners. See our care page for more details.

11. What is the length of your slings?

Our standard slings vary between 74-77 inches long, and our longtail slings are 90 inches.

12. Who makes your slings?

Our linen ring slings are responsibly manufactured in China.

13. Are you compliant?

Yes, we are CPSIA and ASTM compliant. WildBird is a member of the BCIA.

14. What is a second sling?

WildBird ring slings that are labeled as "Seconds" come with minor cosmetic flaws that do not affect the safety of the sling. These items are final sale and are not eligible for exchange/return.

GAME CHANGER
Once I figured out how to use my ring sling, it changed my day to day for the better! This sweet nugget is our 4th, so to say I NEED my hands to accomplish mommin' is an under statement. It took watching the YouTube tutorial maybe 6 times, then I had it down. My baby is so cozy & happy. Snuggled right up close to me. I can kiss him & wash dishes.. 100% recommend! If I can figure this out, anyone can!

Gorgeous, but they got the order wrong
Just received my Bee sling today, seriously one of the prettiest things I've ever bought! Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong ring colour :( I ordered bronze and received gold. I'm not gonna bother to return it knowing they sold out and the pre-order doesn't ship until February. All in all it's a beautiful piece, just wish I got the exact one I wanted/paid for.

I love the material, and it feels very sturdy even with my toddler will primarily be using it for an infant come summer time. Only complaint and the color seems very off compared to the website.
