Safety Information

Acknowledged as "Hip-Healthy" by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
Meets all U.S. safety standards under CPSC, CPSIA and ASTM F2236.
Recommended for babies 2 - 24 months. Please see more information on readiness and weight below.
Meets ASTM F2236 standard test for 7-45 lbs, however, WildBird recommends caregivers always consider their baby's overall size and readiness to ensure a safe and comfortable fit. Baby's mid ear and airways should sit above top panel of the carrier. For newborns or smaller babies we recommend our Aerial Buckle Wrap.
Designed for front carry (facing inwards) and back carry. Purchase a replacement chest clip for back carry here.
When babywearing, safety is the top priority and additional guidelines should be followed. The T.I.C.K.S. Rule is the generally accepted guidelines for safe babywearing. Each point is designed to promote safe, secure, and comfortable babywearing for both caregiver and child.

Premium polyester mesh lining and nylon straps.
Wash in cool water by hand or machine on gentle cycle. Use a gentle liquid detergent free of optical brighteners to maintain color. Wash separately or with like colors. Hang dry or dry flat.

Aerial Carriers that are labeled as "Seconds" come with minor cosmetic flaws that do not affect the safety. These items are final sale and are not eligible for exchange/return.

I love my wildbird so much 🥹🫶🏻
The Aerial has quickly become my favorite WildBird carrier. It’s soft, supportive, and somehow makes every moment; whether we’re walking through the garden or just rocking before nap…feel sacred. I love how close it keeps my baby, how weightless it feels, and how beautifully it fits into our rhythm of gentle motherhood.

You need this carrier!
I started with the aerial wrap with my second child because I had another brand standard carrier with my first and was not happy with the stability and support for babies under 10 lb. I was so happy with the wrap that I then transitioned to this carrier as my child reached 3 1/2 months and man I just LOVE it. Its so supportive for baby and cute for me! Don’t second guess purchasing this carrier. Its worth it!

Very comfortable
I enjoy wearing this carrier! My baby enjoys being in the carrier and I have worn it for hours hiking and at the zoo and it has been more comfortable than others I have worn. My only critique is that I wish the front panel was longer. I haven’t seen other reviews talking about this so I am not sure if my baby has a long torso but he is 10 months and he constantly gets his arms out and over the top of the carrier.

Color is different in person
I was on the waitlist for this colorway (archer) for quite a while so when it went back in stock I bought it right away, in the wild bird photo it looks more of a lighter linen with blue stripes being brighter. I was a little disappointed because In person it’s a lot more of a grey linen and the blue stripes look very grey.
This is what it looks like next to a pure white.
Just be aware that this is not an off-white or light beige color But If you prefer a more grey linen, this is the one for you!
