- Recommended for babies 0 - 6 months. Please see more information on readiness and weight below.
- Meets ASTM F2907 standard for full term babies up to 25 lbs, however, WildBird recommends caregivers always consider their baby's overall size and readiness to ensure a safe and comfortable fit. Baby's head and airways should sit above top panel of the carrier. This carrier is intended for babies under 15 lbs; for larger babies we recommend our Aerial Buckle Carrier.
- Designed for front carry, facing in only.

Mom to 3, ages 3 and under. I have used the Aerial Buckle Wrap for my last two infants, weighing 7 lbs and 9 lbs at birth. I wanted a wrap that worked for the newborn stage so I could keep up with my toddler(s.) It took about a month for me to use this with my smaller baby; a week to use it with my larger baby. The fabric choice limits wear time, as my children would sink down unsafely when the wrap stretched. Getting the wrap on and tight enough is tricky. The straps are twisted easily, so I was better off putting it on where I had a mirror. My kids also hated having their heads tucked into the wrap for additional head support, so m craning their necks. I wore this wrap to be hands free, but I always felt like I needed to have a hand on the kids for support. For this reason, I would not recommend this wrap to another mom. This was supposed to be my gateway wrap to the Wildbird brand, but I won't pay a premium for the other style of carrier when there is only one carry position.
