Safety Information

Acknowledged as "Hip-Healthy" by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
Meets all U.S. safety standards under CPSC, CPSIA and ASTM F2236.
Recommended for babies 2 - 24 months. Please see more information on readiness and weight below.
Meets ASTM F2236 standard test for 7-45 lbs, however, WildBird recommends caregivers always consider their baby's overall size and readiness to ensure a safe and comfortable fit. Baby's mid ear and airways should sit above top panel of the carrier. For newborns or smaller babies we recommend our Aerial Buckle Wrap.
Designed for front carry (facing inwards) and back carry. Purchase a replacement chest clip for back carry here.
When babywearing, safety is the top priority and additional guidelines should be followed. The T.I.C.K.S. Rule is the generally accepted guidelines for safe babywearing. Each point is designed to promote safe, secure, and comfortable babywearing for both caregiver and child.

Fabric & Care

100% natural linen. Woven with luxurious European linen fibers.
Premium polyester mesh lining and nylon straps.
Wash in cool water by hand or machine on gentle cycle. Use a gentle liquid detergent free of optical brighteners to maintain color. Wash separately or with like colors. Hang dry or dry flat.

7. Can I wash my Aerial Carrier?

The Aerial Carrier can be hand or machine washed in cool water and hung to dry. Avoid using detergent with optical brighteners.

8. Who makes your Aerial Carriers?

The Aerial Buckle Carrier is responsibly manufactured in the Philippines and Vietnam.

9. Are you compliant?

Yes, we are CPSIA and ASTM compliant. WildBird is a member of the BCIA.

10. What is a second Aerial Carrier?

Aerial Carriers that are labeled as "Seconds" come with minor cosmetic flaws that do not affect the safety. These items are final sale and are not eligible for exchange/return.

It’s perfect!
Between my two kids I’ve tried multiple carriers and never found “the one”. This is IT. It is so comfortable for both baby and me and provides the proper amount of body and neck support. Bonus that the color options are awesome. 100000/10 recommend!

Best carrier I have!
I was hesitant to purchase this since it is a bit pricey and I own several other carriers already. But this is the best! I can get rid of all the others because this one is so much better. It doesn’t hurt my shoulders or hips like the other ones do, it’s super easy to put on, and the linen fabric is cool enough to wear in the summer hiking with my baby. I feel bad because I would be a loyal customer since it’s such a great product, but I literally have no need to purchase another one since it’s so amazing and works perfect for all my needs! I was also hesitant to purchase the sparrow color because it’s so light, but so far I’ve been able to get stains out no problem! And the color goes with pretty much everything I wear! I wanted to give a good review since I love it so much and wanted to support the business in some way since I don’t need to buy any more carriers! (Unless my friends have babies)!
